Simple Bible Hacks

Conquering how to read the Bible can completely transform your relationship with God.♡ Here are some hacks to make the most out of every word in the Bible:

  1. To really process what you are reading a great hack is summarizing each paragraph/page with a sticky note. On the sticky note put the main point of what was said.
  2.  Say a prayer to God or speak to God about the message you read. Ask Him for guidance or speak to Him about how you want to apply it in your life.
  3. Do research about others views on a specific part of the Bible you are reading. It is great to hear others views and what they got out of a certain verse to feel inspired about the Bible or to ease your understanding.
  4. Go some place where you feel closer to God. (outside, at your church, in your bed alone…)
  5. Highlight verses that stick out to you. (so you can come back to them!)
  6. Really digest what you just read and try to apply it to your life and yourself.

Follow Your Passion… Or Not?

Hi there amazing person!♡

What are your passions? What sets your soul on fire? What makes you feel alive?

These are the things you need to invest your time in and at least try to go after. Life is short and we only have a limited time here to make an impact.

We need people passionate about what they do, so we can all feed off each other’s positive energy. Passions encourage dedication, happiness, reward, enthusiasm, and liveliness into our life.

I am a firm believer that you NEED to invest in your passions. Whether it be making time for it, investing money in it, making it your career, spreading it to others, or just filling yourself with the joy it brings… follow that passion.

Go after what makes you feel happy to be alive.

The more you dedicate yourself to it the bigger impact your passion will have upon you or the world.

Passions define us as who we are. It is so important to go after and grow in your passion to also in grow who you are.

We only have one life. Fill it with that passion of yours.

Being Happy Along the Journey

It is easy to get caught up in your end goals. To get in the mindset that… “once I achieve ________ I will finally have made it.” OR “when ________ happens I will finally be happy.”

We have to keep in mind that…

Life is a constant journey of new forms of happiness & goals.

We can be happy along our journey to achieve a new goal. We can be happy in a waiting period in our life. We do not wait for happiness to come to us. WE MAKE OUR OWN HAPPINESS EVERY SINGLE DAY.

It is especially important to remember this when we are patiently waiting for something to happen or get accomplished in our lives.

YES, be happy when you finally reach that goal you wanted, but do not forget to ALSO be happy every day leading up to it.☆





You Are Loved Forever

I was just thinking about something so insane it took me a while to process it:

I know I am loved by God, BUT I am loved by Him FOREVER.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved. – Ephesians 2:4-5

People will leave me, people will hurt me, people will not love me… but that is only temporary compared to the love our God gives us.

God loves us forever and all the time. No matter what we do He loves every single part of us.

Whenever you feel unloved remember the one who gave you this life… loves you indefinitely. No love can top God’s love. It is overflowing everyday. He wants to love us and He wants us to love Him.

Anytime you feel unloved take a step back and realize you are SO loved. This love from Him is with you every second.

Psalm 136 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever.

The Power of Our Mind

Hi amazing person!

I just want to remind you of the most amazing thing we have as humans. That most amazing thing is OUR MIND.✰

Lets get into the power it has. It can either control us or we can have control over it, thus having control over our life.

Everything that occurs in our life passes through our mind. Every event, every thought, every idea… EVERYTHING. That is our power.

We can either use our minds to create negativity among our life/inner self and stop ourselves from what we can achieve…

OR  we can use our minds to create the best version of ourselves and our life. Then in the process impact the world. Our mind has the power to impact things GREATER than we actually believe sometimes, but if you have a mind AND a strong belief in your abilities… you will be unstoppable.

From there anything is possible with the power of your mind. ✰

Healthy Summer Habits

I always love the start of a new season. I look at it as a way to start new goals and habits.

I want to share a couple habits I have picked up this summer that have me feeling  MY BEST!

☆Drink a sufficient amount of water according to your weight☆

Whenever you feel lethargic or dehydrated it is so important to drink your water. These feelings can be avoided in the first place if you make drinking ENOUGH water a priority.

Try taking your water with you on your drive, drink a glass with every meal, and even when you think you do not need water I PROMISE you do! Especially in summer if you live in the heat.

☆Incorporate fruit into your breakfast and in your snacks☆

Fruit such as watermelon, blueberries, dragon fruit, strawberries, oranges etc; all have high water content! This is great for summer and is the perfect food for a FRESH pick me up. When you wake up in the morning it is important to start your day hydrated so I love incorporating fruit AS my breakfast or ADD it into my breakfast.

Starting your day hydrated will make you feel ready to conquer your day. Instead of snacking on chips or bars try incorporating fresh fruit for extra hydration throughout the day.

☆Take advantage of the heat by sweating ☆

I know it sounds crazy, but sweating gets rid of the toxins in your skin! If you incorporate a walk or run outdoors not only will you be sweating out toxins, but you will be getting your workout in at the same time. Sweating while exercising means you are burning those calories AND getting rid of toxins in your skin.

Enjoy your summer and create new healthy habits at the same time!


How to NOT Let Fear Win

Fear HE IS a liar.

This sentence contains the biggest truth that can be applied to each of us amazing humans.

Fear can literally stop you from reaching your full potential, achieving goals, and cultivating relationships with others. This is why fear needs to be talked about (and be completely eliminated from our lives).

Isaiah 43:1

But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.

Think of instances where fear has stopped you.

I know when I think of some instances I feel less of myself for not going after what I wanted at the time all because of this thought in my head called fear.

BUT I want you to know you can break down that barrier to be completely fearless in your life. Fear does not have to always win when you have God by your side all the time.

Psalm 118:6
6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?

You stopping yourself from achieving things comes down to YOU at the end of the day. The people around us should not in ANY WAY stop us from ANYTHING. We are all imperfect, so why should it matter what another thinks when OUR GOD believes in us 100% for the rest of our lives here and beyond?

What others think should not let fear take over and what you think should not let fear take over… because GOD OVERRIDES all of that. He overrides the fear and tells you we are HIS. We have been created fearless through Him.
