What are your passions? What sets your soul on fire? What makes you feel alive?

These are the things you need to invest your time in and at least try to go after. Life is short and we only have a limited time here to make an impact.

We need people passionate about what they do, so we can all feed off each other’s positive energy. Passions encourage dedication, happiness, reward, enthusiasm, and liveliness into our life.

I am a firm believer that you NEED to invest in your passions. Whether it be making time for it, investing money in it, making it your career, spreading it to others, or just filling yourself with the joy it brings… follow that passion.

Go after what makes you feel happy to be alive.

The more you dedicate yourself to it the bigger impact your passion will have upon you or the world.

Passions define us as who we are. It is so important to go after and grow in your passion to also in grow who you are.

We only have one life. Fill it with that passion of yours.

Being Happy Along the Journey

It is easy to get caught up in your end goals. To get in the mindset that… “once I achieve ________ I will finally have made it.” OR “when ________ happens I will finally be happy.”

We have to keep in mind that…

Life is a constant journey of new forms of happiness & goals.

We can be happy along our journey to achieve a new goal. We can be happy in a waiting period in our life. We do not wait for happiness to come to us. WE MAKE OUR OWN HAPPINESS EVERY SINGLE DAY.

It is especially important to remember this when we are patiently waiting for something to happen or get accomplished in our lives.

YES, be happy when you finally reach that goal you wanted, but do not forget to ALSO be happy every day leading up to it.☆

The Power of Our Mind

Hi amazing person!

I just want to remind you of the most amazing thing we have as humans. That most amazing thing is OUR MIND.✰

Lets get into the power it has. It can either control us or we can have control over it, thus having control over our life.

Everything that occurs in our life passes through our mind. Every event, every thought, every idea… EVERYTHING. That is our power.

We can either use our minds to create negativity among our life/inner self and stop ourselves from what we can achieve…

OR  we can use our minds to create the best version of ourselves and our life. Then in the process impact the world. Our mind has the power to impact things GREATER than we actually believe sometimes, but if you have a mind AND a strong belief in your abilities… you will be unstoppable.

From there anything is possible with the power of your mind. ✰

Healthy Summer Habits

I always love the start of a new season. I look at it as a way to start new goals and habits.

I want to share a couple habits I have picked up this summer that have me feeling  MY BEST!

☆Drink a sufficient amount of water according to your weight☆

Whenever you feel lethargic or dehydrated it is so important to drink your water. These feelings can be avoided in the first place if you make drinking ENOUGH water a priority.

Try taking your water with you on your drive, drink a glass with every meal, and even when you think you do not need water I PROMISE you do! Especially in summer if you live in the heat.

☆Incorporate fruit into your breakfast and in your snacks☆

Fruit such as watermelon, blueberries, dragon fruit, strawberries, oranges etc; all have high water content! This is great for summer and is the perfect food for a FRESH pick me up. When you wake up in the morning it is important to start your day hydrated so I love incorporating fruit AS my breakfast or ADD it into my breakfast.

Starting your day hydrated will make you feel ready to conquer your day. Instead of snacking on chips or bars try incorporating fresh fruit for extra hydration throughout the day.

☆Take advantage of the heat by sweating ☆

I know it sounds crazy, but sweating gets rid of the toxins in your skin! If you incorporate a walk or run outdoors not only will you be sweating out toxins, but you will be getting your workout in at the same time. Sweating while exercising means you are burning those calories AND getting rid of toxins in your skin.

Enjoy your summer and create new healthy habits at the same time!

Are You In A “Waiting Season”?

Are you in a season in your life where everything feels stagnant?

Personally, this is one of the toughest seasons to go through because you can either do absolutely NOTHING or you can use this rather “boring” season of life to improve yourself and set new goals.

After experiencing this season, I can tell you it was one of the most amazing seasons of my life.

It was filled with self discovery, improving who I am, finding what I like and dislike and really tuning into my strengths and weaknesses.

I may have not had a lot going on in the circumstances of my life, but I turned the stable conditions of my life into a fulfilling and energizing season WITHIN myself. Trust me when I say to fully take advantage of this waiting season in your life and turn to YOURSELF (not your outside circumstances).★★★★

When this waiting season passes and a new season takes life, you will be able to transfer your discoveries into a more busy season in your life.

Ways to take advantage of this WAITING SEASON:

  1. Read books on self improvement/discovery
  2. Try things that scare you
  3. Start new goals
  4. Grow your relationship with God and your faith
  5. Open yourself up to other’s ideas which will in turn create expansion upon your ideas

De-clutter Your Mind

 

Thoughts are constantly racing through your mind. Each filling up a space within you with worry, fears, doubt, judgement, and negativity.

So what are the point of these pointless thoughts that only do more harm than good?

This unnecessary clutter of our mind risks our peace and God’s plans for us.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

He wants us to live fearlessly, in love, faithful in His plans, not to judge others, but be open to everyone. Through this, the positive thoughts will fill our mind with undeniable truth.

Instead of letting doubt and fear fill your mind, fill it with your capabilities and what COULD happen. Remember that God is cheering you on every step of the way. He overrides any doubts you are having because He gives you FULL CAPABILITY ALL THE TIME.

What an amazing God we have… and it doesn’t end here!!

Never judge another or let another judge you. We are all on this Earth together as children of His kingdom. No one is better than the other. We all have our faults, sins, and weaknesses… but what does it matter what anyone else thinks about those when your God forgives you and loves you through IT ALL?

Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Live with a clear mind. De- clutter your mind of things where God is not present and instead fill it with God’s truth and his presence.
